Coupeville Proper
Located on the south side of Penn Cove, Coupeville is a quaint beach town. It's filled with lots of mom and pop shops where the owners and employees know your name. If you live within the city limits, you are walking distance to everything you need. There is a small grocery store, a hospital, restaurants, shops, and more right there on the main road.
The town is rich in history. Named for pioneer Thomas Coupe, it was settled by sea captains and farmers in the 1850's. Currently, there are 1,831 people living within the city limits.
Coupeville is a unique town in that is has a little something for everyone. It would be a great place to retire or a great place to raise your kids. There are events, festivals, & markets. The public library is beautiful. The food is fantastic. Coupeville is a town all about community.
