Whidbey Island is especially gorgeous during the summer months, and August brings us the opportunity to really take advantage of the sunshine and warm weather as much as possible! Even though this summer might look different from usual, there are still so many fun activities and things we can do as we social distance. This week's Local Lift has a little bit of everything: A much-loved bakery that Oak Harbor has loved for decades, a charming new floral and gift shop, some seriously good tacos, and a coffee spot that locals are completely obsessed with. So excited to highlight these four Oak Harbor small businesses!
Whidbey Island is home to dozens and dozens of amazing restaurants, and this includes some extra-special waterfront restaurants. The Restaurant at Captain Whidbey, Toby's Tavern, Front Street Grill, and Callen's Restaurant are all right alongside the shimmering Puget Sound waters, and the views are just as good as the food!
