Your Guide to Whidbey Island Farmers Markets

Nothing says spring is here quite like your local farmers market starting back up again! Whidbey Island has 6 main farmers markets that happen each year, and 2019 brings us another season of delicious local produce, homemade treats, live entertainment, beautiful handmade creations, and of course, the perfect time to get out and meet your neighbors.

For each of the Whidbey Island farmers markets featured below, you’ll find a link to their Facebook page. Following your local or favorite market is helpful if you want to stay on top of announcements, special events, and featured vendors.

Markets are organized by the day of the week they occur:

THURSDAY


Oak Harbor Public Market

  • Location: 700-, 898 NE 4th Ave, Oak Harbor, WA 98277 (Highway 20 next to NE 4th Ave, in the park next to the Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center.

If you have a busy weekend ahead, this Thursday evening market is the perfect spot to stop to restock groceries and grab something for dinner… all while supporting local Whidbey Island businesses.


Clinton Thursday Market

FRIDAY

Langley Farmers Market

  • Location: Corner of 6th St and Cascade Ave

Join the community and stock up on fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, locally made products, and enjoy live music. Produce vendors accept WIC and Senior Nutrition program checks! (Also, be sure to note that this market used to be known as the Second Street Market, and the name, location, and hours of the market have changed!)


SATURDAY

Coupeville Farmers Market

Nestled in the heart of Coupeville, the Couple Farmers Market is all about community. The market’s website shares the idea behind the market: “The gaelic word “comhar” means the value of the community and all it’s participants coming together. We practice comhar each week, and so can you.” Every year since 1979, local farmers and vendors gather to share their harvest and creations, from unique artwork and pottery to local honey and fresh flowers!


Bayview Farmers Market

This is one impressive farmers market with dozens of farmers, food stands, and artisans featured in the dynamic mix. SUNDAY

South Whidbey Tilth Farmers’ Market

Located in a meadow complete with live music, picnic tables, and fun activities with children, the Tilth Farmers’ Market offers so much more than “just” produce—it’s a memorable experience for young and old alike.
