What’s New on Whidbey

Thanks for stopping by to check out this week’s Local Lift! In case you’re not familiar, Local Lift is an ongoing series I started back when COVID-19 first hit during Spring of 2020. With each Local Lift, I purchase gift cards from local Whidbey Island businesses to give away to locals. It’s meant to be a “small business boost,” and I also love shining the spotlight on some of my very favorite small businesses. When we can, it’s important to support our local economy! #ShopLocal

Local Lift is all about spotlighting and supporting Whidbey Island’s many incredible businesses. This ongoing Local Lift feature was started at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic as a “small business boost”; so many of our cherished local businesses had to close their doors for an unforeseen amount of time or drastically change the way they did business practically overnight. In addition to purchasing gift cards to local businesses to give away to the community, I also spotlight each business at the same time.

This week’s Local Lift features a few incredible Oak Harbor businesses that Whidbey Island residents just rave about! Whether you’d like to stock up on fresh spring produce, enjoy a much-needed evening out with delicious food and drinks, or get a complete makeover, this Local Lift shines the spotlight on businesses that offer all of this and more.
