The spread of COVID-19 has brought uncertainty to so many, and with a situation that seems to change by the hour, it can be hard to know what to do to help the community. However, one thing we CAN continue to do is to support our local businesses here on Whidbey Island as we all make our way through this challenging time.

We have started a new weekly series called “Local Lift.” Each week we are doing a small business “boost” and purchasing items (services, gift cards, etc.) to giveaway to the Whidbey Island community.

This week’s giveaway includes:

Frasers Gourmet Hideaway

This Oak Harbor icon is a hometown favorite, and when they’re open for dine-in, it’s the perfect local spot for a special night out! Currently they are of course not offering dine-in service, but they have a special to go menu that you can order from. Orders must be made by Thursdays at 8pm, and then orders can be picked up on Saturday between 2-5pm. Their special takeout menu includes starters (like fondue, seafood chowder, babyback ribs), entrees (like seafood lasagna, gnocci, and Cornish game hen), and desserts (like white chocolate cheesecake, chocolate grand marnier cake, and fresh strawberries/passionfruit sabayon), and you can buy wine for takeout as well!
